About Ms. Griffon

Patricia Griffon was born in Los Angeles and attended UCLA. In 1978, she began working in the entertainment industry in LA, New York, and Nassau producing records and music videos and serving as a personal manager to a variety of musical acts. She moved to Colorado in 1992 to produce a country music album with the former drummer of the band CHICAGO, and soon met and married her current husband, with whom she opened a series of successful, upscale Italian restaurants in which she was the pastry chef. Blind Reason was inspired, in part, by Ms. Griffon's reaction to the popular anti-depressant Paxil. She is currently a plaintiff in the class action lawsuit against the manufacturer of this medication, and in addition to working on the sequel to this book, Ms. Griffon also participates in several anti-SSRI fora on the Internet. She still lives in the mountains outside Denver with her husband.
