Panic Disorder: How Much Do We Know?

J. Sakyiama

Our longer-term aim is to compare perceptions of panic attacks in nurses and the general public (not patients). The psychology students were most sure that co-morbidity is possible and very few people expected it not to be. In addition 70% said that panic attacks are a psychological problem not a medical one. This may present a problem in successful treatment of some groups of Panic Patients.
