Nonverbal Paths in Treatment and Outcome Measures: Pictures and Words

B. Stone

Abstract

Nonverbal Imagery and art therapy are meeting points for the physiology and psychology of PTSD and Panic Attacks. Trauma imagery, fight or flight response and panic are intertwined so both imagery and breathing methods are needed. The degree that clients feel each P-F is measured 'before and after' treatment and sometimes used for goal setting.
